Airport Commission approves final environmental assessment for FAA review.

Gardner Airport Commission advances environmental and land-acquisition agenda. Chairman James A. Wood and the four-member commission approved a final Categorical Exclusion document for FAA submission and received an update on a $630,000 avigation easements acquisition project, split between Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Airport Improvement Program funding with a local share of $25,115.

The commission directed staff to coordinate with the Mayor's office and Gale Associates to confirm local funding availability and discuss acquisition procedures before the FAA schedules a scoping meeting.
