Members Paulette Burns and City Assessor Christine Kumar voted unanimously, 2-0, at the board's first 2026 meeting to elect Charles LeBlanc as Chairperson, despite his absence from the 10:16 AM session at City Hall. The Board then entered executive session under Massachusetts General Law to review and approve two real estate abatement applications.
