Conservation Commission approves compliance certificate for Watkins Road project

Gardner Conservation Commission unanimously approved a Certificate of Compliance for a sewer connection project at 43 Watkins Road, DEP File No. 160-0356, finding complete compliance based on limited jurisdictional scope and current site conditions. The commission scheduled enforcement order hearings for the Sludge Landfill on August 10, 2026, and for 86 Linwood Street and 9 Crawford Street on June 9, 2026, while continuing enforcement matters at 36 Nicole Terrace and 282 Brookside Drive to May 11, 2026. Conservation Agent Justin Enright reported on site visits to the Keyes Conservation Area and 150 Linus Allain Road regarding erosion controls and sewer connection repairs, and noted an upcoming inspection off Conant Street.
