Gardner Council on Aging unanimously re-elects four officers during January reorganization meeting. Chair Ronald Darmetka, Vice Chair Paul Leone, Treasurer Terri Hillman, and Secretary Kathy O'Brien were re-elected, along with Michael Ellis as CEO of the Board. The Council approved the year-end Treasurer's Report, which showed the Gift Fund at $96,298.91 and the Revolving Fund cash balance at $57,710.36.
Director Ellis reported that 11,000 unique individuals were served last year through outreach programs with $1.3 million recaptured for area seniors. The planned relocation to Waterford Street continues on track with bathrooms freshly painted and doors expected by late January.
