School Subcommittees · Meeting of June 3, 2026
Gardner Finance Sub-Committee approves $30,000 in emergency plumbing repairs at Gardner High School. The Finance Sub-Committee met June 3 with members Mr. LaFreniere, Mrs.
Pelavin, and Mr. Swartz. Director of Finance and Operations Mark Hawke reported that plumbing repairs totaling just over $30,000 caused the school's budget line to go negative, with work addressing boiler systems, domestic water lines, and a storage tank.
Revolving Accounts are performing as expected. The committee unanimously accepted a donation to the high school from Peter Sauter in memory of his mother, Helen Mae Sauter.
