Gardner Historical Commission approves prior meeting minutes, discusses funding for Old Burying Ground gravestone restoration. Chair Chris Pera and Commissioner Alan Agnelli reported that DPW Director Dane Arnold suggested splitting the project into two segments under $50,000 to streamline the bid process, with potential funding from proceeds of former school buildings and Free Cash subject to state budget approval. Commissioners also advanced a strategy to update the state's MACRIS inventory, selecting 121 Edgell Street and the duplex at 3-5 Clark Street as template properties, and endorsed the Mayor's plan to plant a tree and install a commemorative marker for the nation's 250th anniversary.
