GARDNER — The Golf Commission approved fiscal 2026 final financials and fiscal 2027 year-to-date figures in unanimous votes. Chair Jeff Gallant led review of the commission's revenues, expenses, and operational costs, including discussion of a $40,000 equipment lease payment to be drawn from maintenance accounts. The course announced a fall special promotion launching August 31 and noted that North Grid construction work beginning mid-week will temporarily convert Hole 13 to par 3.

High School Golf started play on August 24 and will field 12 players. Member Ann Twohig raised questions about implementing golf lessons separately from the course to address liability concerns; staff will consult the City Solicitor before proceeding.
