The committee heard updates from Director Jason Stevens and Assistant Director Amy Yuhasz on multiple CDBG initiatives. Greenwood Pool demolition is nearing completion requiring a drainage-work change order; the pavilion project is out for bid opening June 4 with lighting and sidewalk alternates.
Mayor Michael J. Nicholson announced the city's Phase 7 downtown improvements received Congressional funding of $550,000, cut from a $1.2 million request, pending full House and Senate approval. Four of five FY2025 public social service projects have fully executed grant agreements and are moving forward.
