GARDNER — The Gardner Historical Commission authorized Chair Chris Pera to respond to EBI Consulting regarding a proposed telecommunications facility off Matthews Street, finding no historic resources near the former Taavitsainen farm. The Fiscal Year 2027 state budget includes a $50,000 earmark for City Archives buildout at the Waterford Community Center; Commissioners agreed to inquire about the scope. Alan Agnelli reported the Old Burying Ground Restoration Project stalled, with potential funding from Free Cash and a Sale of Real Estate Proceeds Account.

The Commission also previewed a Zoning Board special permit application from Chair City Church for the Henry Heywood House, which seeks a cafe and human services program at 100 Central Street.
