Historical Commission launches MACRIS inventory update effort

GARDNER — The Gardner Historical Commission's MACRIS Working Group met to outline a process for updating the town's Massachusetts Cultural Resource Information System database. Chair Chris Pera, joined by Commissioners Ottavio Canu, Linda Rice, Marcia White, and Alan Agnelli, identified the Ezra Moore House at 3-5 Clark Street and Heather Mount's house at 121 Edgell Street as initial properties for new inventory forms. The group discussed prioritizing oldest structures, aligning work with the 250th Anniversary celebration, and marking demolished buildings in the existing inventory.
Pera will establish a shared documents folder for members to contribute photographs, maps, and historical records organized by property.
