GARDNER — License Commission appoints leadership for 2026. The Gardner License Commission unanimously appointed Michael Fitzsimmons as Chairperson, Nancy Binder as Vice-Chairperson, and Kenneth Arsenault as Member. The Commission also updated its Rules and Regulations, which became effective January 1, 2026, and distributed copies to all licensed establishments along with a fire safety advisory from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security regarding sparklers and pyrotechnics.
The Commission continues monitoring the Sawa Asian Cuisine & Lounge license transfer, submitted to the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission in April 2025.
