License Commission approves seasonal alcohol licenses, waives late fee for PACC.

GARDNER — The Gardner License Commission approved two completed 2026 seasonal alcohol license renewals and conditionally approved a third. Chairperson Michael Fitzsimmons, Vice-Chair Nancy Binder, and Member Kenneth Arsenault voted unanimously to approve the Polish American Citizen Club (SLIQ-8) upon submission of an inspection certificate scheduled for April 15, 2026, and waived the late fee. The Commission also approved renewals for the Lithuanian Club (SLIQ-12) and Zoe's on the Green (SLIQ-7).
The Commission noted that Sawa Asian Cuisine and Lounge's license transfer, submitted to the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission on April 8, 2025, remains pending after months of document requests and status inquiries with no substantive response from state officials.
