Gardner Policy Subcommittee advances eleven policies toward adoption. Chair Anne Hurst and members Rachel Cormier and Paul Cormier unanimously approved ten policies for first read at the April full School Committee meeting, including new MASC model policies on school nutrition meal modifications and child nutrition civil rights complaints, recommended respectively by Director of Food Services Thomas Crocker and the district's legal counsel. Chief Academic Officer Dr.

Catherine Goguen guided the subcommittee through revisions to staff ethics, conduct, and fundraising policies, adding references to State Ethics Commission training and crowdfunding definitions at the recommendation of Director of Operations and Finance Mark Hawke. The Recording Policy was tabled to April 15 for further discussion.
